Once 2017 is gone, it's gone for good. What are you doing to make the most of the time that's left of the year? My own plans include spending as a lot of time with friends and family (well, friends who are like family anyway), reflecting, and attempting to enjoy this time.
One day we'll look back on this as a simpler time. There are all sorts of new and wonderful things on the horizon, but these will be accompanied by new challenges that will make irrevocable changes to the world. In other words it's just like I'm always saying: These are the good ole days.
So if whatever you had planned tonight isn't something you're enthusiastic about - take this as your opportunity to save what precious hours you have in this year. 2017 is nearly over, and it ain't coming back, folks.
