If you like Irish country pubs then can you please click on the link below to vote for Egans in Parkbridge, Co Wicklow. This is a really traditional pub that serves the best creamy Guinness. The sons of owners, Larry and Mary Egan, are all champion accordion players. The trad music nights are great craic too. Last night I was there to watch the Ireland v Fiji match - we won - and the atmosphere was great - crackling fire and then sausages served at half time to keep us going.
Anyway, if you are passing and would like to help my old local, please like and comment on the link below.
Egans Bar Parkbridge, Co. Wicklow.
Wicklow's hidden gem! We has got the friendliest staff serving the creamiest pints of Guinness in the country since 1867. A 1994 remodel by renowned architect Angela Murphy, Larry and Mary Egan have a pot belly stove, hundreds of interesting artifacts and a snug with a beautiful open fire. The snug is a very intimate space where traditional Irish music, songs and stories have been taking place down through the years. The locals love nothing more than to get a sing song going or to tell a yarn or two in front of the warmth of the fireplace. — with Jillian Godsil and Egans Bar, Parkbridge.
