Yesterday I had the honour of interviewing Debbie Deegan of To Children with Love. A charity she founded 20 years ago to initially help orphans in Russia after she adopted a Russian child. Over the past 20 years her work has expanded to the point here she was on the board of no less than 46 orphanages in Russia helping thousands of children. In recent years, and reflecting the recession in Ireland, her team have helped disadvantaged children in Ireland. She is a tour de force.
