The concept of possession and consuming

The culture of possession and consuming that dominates our world today has become a burden on our planet and a hindrance to moving towards the level of planetary civilization. Although enormous technological breakthroughs have saved efforts, reduced costs and created an unprecedented abundance of production, but they have opened uncounted doors for consuming and luxury as a blackhole that absorbs not only all energies and exploits the labourers, but also drains resources and threatens life on Earth

It has become commonplace that a person has no right to gain more than he/she possesses or earns, even if he/she is about to die of hunger. This view is rooted in the unconscious as an accepted social contract, a moral principle and an uncontroversial law. While many experiences prove that in an environment where everyone in society is assured that they will receive the minimum of their needs without any tension, fear or competition leading to psychological stability and happiness. Hence, this stability makes a remarkable contribution to enhancing the sense of cooperation and opening up new creative spaces that could not be imagined by the human being who is burdened with the basic necessities of life, nor by greedy one for the accumulation of wealth

Possession and consuming contribute to meeting some psychological and physiological aspects within their borders only. But corrupt societal values have deceived many that greedy for possession and hysteria of luxury can achieve happiness and meet all needs. Otherwise, happiness can only be achieved through intimate human relations as well as self-satisfaction and a sense of existential value

We humans must cooperate at the level of the whole earth as one system, beyond the borders, races and religions, and all that separates a human being away from other fellow human beings.
