Just when I thought it was safe to cross ....😳😳

These bridges always weird me out. I just can’t help but feel a little nervy when taking my 17,000 pound bucket truck across these farm bridges. They crackle and pop and most of the time you can see and hear the boards moving around. I hope that gives you a good idea of why I am not a so called “Fan” of crossing these things, but you gotta do whatcha gotta do.....I guess?!?!

So I cross the bridge with caution, well as cautious as I can with a truck weighing over 8 tons. crackle pop bang boom pop crackle All while looking over the side of the bridge and seeing the bottom of the riverbed about 40-50 feet below.

“Just look ahead don’t look anywhere else” I tell myself.

Well I am alive to talk about it so nothin’ bad happened....Thank God. Dispite the fact that they drive tractors over this bridge, it still freaks me out a bit and doesn’t really change the way I feel about these Farm Bridges. LOL

Then I See This!!

Wait...Wait...Wait!!!

Is this sign for real??? 5,000 pounds???!!! Only!!! This Farmer is just totally screwing with people’s minds?!? HAHAHA That is just straight up wrong in so many ways. I almost called this farmer and asked him about it just for fun. He is a pretty cool guy and awesome to come and do work for.

Well I made it across once so I should be fine for the second time...right?!? Maybe the first time was luck??? This might just be the straw that broke the camel’s or in this situation, the bridges back!

It’s probably really not that big of deal but man this just weirds me out really bad for some reason. Kind of like spiders or something. That dang movie Arachnophobia ruined me, and having 3 older brothers will do that to you too
