I hope things work out. It's always a great feeling to do something for others. It's the day to day living afterwards that can get a little gnarly. Great deal on the 5th wheel, though. If basically everything works, I feel like you got a steal of a deal. Since you've got it parked on the street in the pictures, are you going to have somewhere on your property to put it?

Ya I have a nice gravel parking area on the side of the house that it fits in perfectly. My truck can still park in front of it and has about 6 feet until the side walk. I’m goin to be wiring in a 120v 30 amp plug tonight I hope. Then I can really go through this beast.

I feel we scored really good with this trailer.
I’ve tried I’ve the years helping with some money for things they need but ultimately they need to get out of that area and start over.

Thanks for sharing. I hope all parties involved are able to benefit from this. We tried to help out a family that was having difficulties by letting them camp out in our backyard for 2 weeks in a friend's pop up camper. 2 weeks turned into 3 months. As winter approached I asked them to leave b/c I told them I didn't want them to be cold. In the end when they finally did leave, they had destroyed our friend's camper, stolen from us and left that part of the yard a big mess. After they left, I found out that the husband had gotten thrown in prison for stealing money from his own relatives. Looking back, I wish that I had written a contract or agreement that we had both signed. I guess I am just concerned that other people don't have the same experience I did.

There are goin to be some rules set forth and boundaries made.
My relative is so tired of the way they have been living and truly wants to make a change.
If I stick my neck out for someone and they burn me... uh that is the last time that ever happens. Because there won’t be a next time. I’m not a 3 strikes and your out type of person. You want to change I will help you but don’t be STUPID!! Don’t do anything stupid and things will be just fine.

I hope all goes well. It is beautiful when people can be so generous. I wish that there were a lot more people willing to do that, but I also wish that people did not take advantage of that. The world would be a much better place if we watched out for each much more and built each other up rather than tearing each other down.

Well said. People often take other people’s kindness and gererosity for granted. Just use and people to get what they want then bail and onto the next one.
I still believe there is hope for humanity. There are good people out there and good people that need help
