Carpal tunnel Syndrome Awareness

I just want to spread this awareness to everyone here in steemit and for us to prevent this medical condition, Carpal tunnel and Tendonitis in wrist or Quervain's disease.

These medical conditions are mostly obtained by the people who exessively use their hands with wrong posture and overused their hands. So im spreading this awareness to this group because bloggers, workaholic people ,programmers, gamers and data encoders are the ones prone on this medical conditions due to their everyday activities.

What is Carpal Tunnel Syndrome?

Carpal tunnel syndrome is a medical condition due to compression of the median nerve as it travels through the wrist at the carpal tunnel.

Compression of nerves is the primary cause of this syndrome and it is due to repetitive motions, like typing or any motions of the wrist that you do over and over. This is especially occurs when your hands are lower than your [wrist] (https://www.webmd.com/pain-management/carpal-tunnel/carpal-tunnel-syndrome)when doing activities like typing,writing etc.

The feeling numbness,pain, tingling, or weakness in your hand are the primary symptoms of this syndrome.

How to prevent

  1. Use lesser tense or grip on activities that doesnt need too much of your force.So your wrist will not be forced.

  2. Give Yourself a Break
    A 10- to 15-minute break every hour is ideal.

  3. Stretch Often
    Here are the effective stretching exercise in youtube

Also avoid the following :

  1. Avoid bending your wrist while typing.Position of the arms must be higher than the risk.
  2. Avoid twisting clothes during laundry.
  3. Avoid bending your hands and pillowing the hands when sleeping.Position your hands in comfortable position when sleeping.

This post was a little bit kinda off topic with my blog but I just want to spread the awareness for this because actually right now Im suffering on this syndrome and I acquired this because of my negligence and innocence and I am regretful that why I didnt know it.
