25 Days of Progress

I joined Steemit 25 days ago. I was just re-reading my first post here.... what a noob. I had no bloody idea what I was doing or getting in to, at the time. I watched a video by this user @jerrybanfield who brought me to Steemit through his YouTube Video. Apparently he's is a Big Deal here on Steemit, as I have commented and upvoted his post to thank him, but never have I received a reply from him. I guess that is what happens with big users. Never-the-Less, It bought me here!

Since then, I have invested personal funds in to my Steemit Account (and posted about it) I've researched what blogging is about (and posted about it) I've researched how to be active upvoting & commenting on Steemit and done that with some random success. I've looked in to other coins & trading platforms (and I have bought 3) and blogged about one of them. Note: Open Disclosure - I am down like 58% in the 1st Coin! So - that first one was kinda an early jump but I am doing what they say and HODL on it.

I also made a food video that sucked but at least it was an honest one. I have begun noob mining (and continue to) ... this is my first attempt and it kinda rates with the Faucets I use for Doge, LTC & Clams. It works, the pay out is tiny and I think the only real money is in the referral links. (I won't post them today) I will give you this photo as an update to my "Mining Progress"

I want to thank everyonewho has followed me, upvoted or commented on my posts over these past 25 Days Thank You! I did a quick calculation and to-date I have earned $12.63 USD in funds posting here on Steemit!!! Please understand, to some that may seem or thought of as chicken feed (If I had a chicken, I'd feed him ha,ha) To me, I've never been paid .01 US Cent by anyone for what I have ever written. (Gosh, for an old man I am almost teary) You all are the best and I hope I can do more here in the future. An old dog can learn new things. Watch & Learn I say, and in saying that I am going to end this post with something I would recommend watching. I don't want to put stupid stuff in front of my followers, this merits a watch. I learned about Exodus wallet from watching this, and more about investing (it is simple terminology) and I want to say thank you to the Steemit user @saddington who created it. I am going to follow him tonight.

Love, Peace & Hair Grease! Joe Dirt Out!

Note to all my followers. I did not upvote my own post. I have read a lot about that here on Steemit, and many consider it poor community participation. So from here on out I will not vote for myself and save voting power for other users.

Nice post, keep it up!

I am just learning about blogging, so I will do my best. Before there was blogging, in my day we wrote a "Letter to the Editor" in the local "Urinal" .... I mean Journal (Newspaper). That was blogging, before the internet. ha,ha

Your on your way! Though I'd trade in that Doge Coin for something that will earn you some better returns.

Thank you, I've been reading back on some of your posts. Glad you returned here. Did you leave for a while because someone said something to you?

Thank you Jack. I realize that there is a lot to learn about the various aspects of Steemit. I am doing a lot of reading of what people post about, and articles on blogging. There is a lot of valuable information on the internet. I am far from being a 'professional blogger' but I hope to start writing down goals on how I be successful writing for a living. (in the future)

Nice good luck mate
