When you are having a conversation with someone, it becomes very difficult to focus on all the things like eye contact, tonality, and gesticulation all the time. The good news is if you make your mindset right, all of these things will tend to flow easily. So in this article, there will be a list of 6 mindsets that will make your life better in terms of social and professional interactions. Are you ready to change your life for better?.

#1. Mindset - No matter what, I will be okay

This is the most fundamental mindset for having a great charisma because many people live their life wrapped in a mental loop of "what if..." questions. What if I speak to my boss and it goes wrong. What if I ask girl on a date and she refuses me. And so on. All of these things stop people from speaking up, from expressing who they really are. You need to realize that even the worst case scenario that can happen isn't that bad at all. You will recover from this. If the boss doesn't like my idea, fine, move on. If girls refuse a date, everything is still fine. Understand this: socially, no matter what happens, you will be okay. That enables you to act with sort of freedom that most people never ever experience in their life. That means you can risk more in social situations than other people. When other people notice that you are not under that social pressure, they will naturally gravitate towards you. If you find yourself stuck, just come back to this belifef: no matter what, I will be okay.

#2. mindset - I care more about my character than my reputation

Your character is way more important than how people perceive you. When you realize this, you will understand that you matter more than what people think of you. So many people spend their life trying to manage opinions of other people. They will think: "What if I do this??" or "What will happens if I do that??" People often tend to think that if they say truth they will be disliked. When you focus on just doing the right thing and letting people making opinions of you, what happens is that people see that you are not overly invested in controlling how they feel. And it makes them trust you more. When you stop caring what people think of you, you will gain more freedom and people will actually have better opinions of you. It sounds crazy but it's true.

#3. mindset - I'm honest and I have integrity

Every single time you tell a lie, even if it's only a little, little lie like telling you are on your way when you are still getting dressed, you build a reputation about yourself as a liar! And that reputation causes you to say words that aren't true. Even if nobody finds out your lie, you know that you lied. This destroys your ability to speak with conviction which is critical for charismatic behavior. With this mindset, you can look someone in the eyes in a way that says them "I believe 100% of words that are coming out of my mouth." Also, if you find yourself lying in an everyday situation - cut that shit off from your life NOW!

#4. mindset - I don't need to convince anyone of anything

You don't need to convince anyone of any belief. Don't badger someone trying to make them do things. You never need anyone to do anything. You are simply asking them. If you act like you need someone to do some things it destroys your charisma. So simply ask. Okay, if the answer is yes, great. If the answer is no, fine anyway.

#5. mindset - I communicate with purpose

I know that lot of people spend a lot of their lives engaged in small conversations. When people ask you what you do and where are you from, and you wind up with the same routine answer, it's not good. You must have a purpose in your talks and get fired up by it. If you talk with purpose people will get inspired by your message and by your desire. So make sure that you put purpose out there in the world!

#6. mindset - I go first in my interactions

Go there first. Be the first person to extend praise to in a group of people that are not very comfortable with doing that. Be the first person in a new group of strangers to crack a joke. Be the first one who shares something vulnerable. When you are the person who is leading a group towards new areas you can connect more with people. Whether it means to be fun, giving a praise, being vulnerable - all of those things signify leadership to other people. It shows your bravery because you are doing something that other people won't.

"No matter what, I will be Okay"

That is a mindset that should stick to the minds of each and every one of us. This alone solves almost all problems when it comes to confidence and building character and network. Thanks for this Resteem!

I completely agree. That is the fundamental mindset for charisma. It gives you such an amazing feeling of freedom without fear that there gonna happen something bad.

In my opinion second mindset is wrong.
Your character is actually your reputation, it does not matter if it is acceptable or not. Every decision is building your character, and yes I think you are right about other peoples opinion, but you need to have "power circle" that can influence you and follow what you do so they can freely point out your sins and mistakes without breaking your spirit.
What I want to say; I understand what you mean by not caring, but not caring is good when u have that "power circle", completely closing yourself from others so you can't get hurt is not very good on psychological level and can do more harm than good.
Get to know people around you and find ones you can trust, let them help you and make sure they let you help them. Create connection, upgrade yourself and enjoy life!
Nice article btw.

Thank you for insightful comment on my article. It is really appreciated.
What I mean with the second mindset is: care just about doing the right thing and not care what people will think. What you do is your character, what people think about you is reputation.

Your style of thinking is very promising! I'll keep an eye on you!

Thank you for this article i like how you put things into these categories. I try to use this kind of thinking but sometimes it gets hard i am more critical of myself though than allowing others opinions to effect me. Still now that i'm trying to build a following on social media this is definitely something i need to work on and i feel like you covered a lot in this post thank you.

You are welcome. If this article helped you and changed your life for better, my mission here is successful. I know that it can be really hard to stop being critical of yourself, but if you keep up on working on yourself and improve every day, I'm sure that you will change that. Best of luck!
