HOW MUCH CAN YOU DO IN 1 YEAR?

Most people say that life is short.... but its not. You just need to do more๐Ÿ‘

I want to share my 1 year expierence that I had in El Salvador. I learned so much and expierenced a whole new life in just 1 year

FB_IMG_1518835663223.jpg

In El Salvador I got to swim in the ocean and expierence having fun in the ocean and beach.

This is a picture of my brother and I playing in the water

FB_IMG_1518835651362.jpg

And because I love football, I needed to play some football on the beach as well. It hurts your feet after a while from the wet sand stuck to it but its to fun to stop

FB_IMG_1518835643802.jpg

Always need a hat and shirt to cover up from the sun... or else you will get burnt so bad and hurt the at night and the next day. When it gets to hot then you can just hop right back into the water

FB_IMG_1518835804445.jpg

This is me, my brother and a friend doing some pushups from the truck in some shade... you cant stay at the beach all day so we just chilled in some shade for a bit

FB_IMG_1518835607075.jpg

I also got to see how they cut down their coconuts and feel how heavy they actually are.

Here me and my friend are carrying some coconuts to our truck to take home

FB_IMG_1518835612311.jpg

FB_IMG_1518835700196.jpg

I got to visit a nice lake side house that was right by the lake because one of my soccer teammates parents were taking care of the house for the owners

FB_IMG_1518835693367.jpg

FB_IMG_1518835687458.jpg

We went to go check out the dock and I also ended up swimming in the lake and having a great time with family

FB_IMG_1518835680976.jpg

FB_IMG_1518835674371.jpg

Creating connections can lead to great moments and can lead to amazing expierneces and relationships

FB_IMG_1518847349155.jpg

It was so much fun to go on the boat because it felt so nice with the wind blowing against you.

FB_IMG_1518847300601.jpg

Swimming was also alot of fun and juming off the dock is aloud ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘

FB_IMG_1518835636908.jpg

Got to spend plenty of time with my family and do so many things. Being in a third world country was so different from living in Canada and there was so many new expierences

FB_IMG_1518835626574.jpg

FB_IMG_1518883916568.jpg

I also got to see what it was like to be in another school and a third world country without understanding the language. This was probably the most boring expierence because I hate school. But at least I seen what it was like because I didnt have to go expierence a third world country school but I got to expierence a third world country school๐Ÿ‘

FB_IMG_1518883910254.jpg

FB_IMG_1518884032393.jpg

One day I went outside and seen this ring around the sun amd never before seen one but im pretty sure its a halo. If its not and you guys know what it is then please let me know in the comments below

FB_IMG_1518883994993.jpg

I owned my first dog that I can remember having because the dogs my family had before I was to young to remember but this was my first dog and her name was layla. We bought her for only $40 because I guess the seller didnt care about the money hahaha. It was also a friend who sold it to us so that was cool.

FB_IMG_1518884000473.jpg

She was a pretty rough dog and loved to play around but would scratch pretty hard haha

FB_IMG_1518835981408.jpg

My favorite part about being in El Salvador was the football experience. I improved so much in football while being in El Salvador and got to experience what it was like to play a different style and in super hot weather

FB_IMG_1518835987266.jpg

When I first got to the field to sign up, they let me check out the stadium and field and it was so amazing to see. I hope one day to play in that satdium as a pro. One of my coaches over there said he believes I can do it and so I just need to work hard everyday to get there.

FB_IMG_1518835618014.jpg

This is a picture of the coach I had. He was the best coach I had in football and was willing to spend alot of time to imorove me. He even wanted to bring me to play football in Nicaragua which is a different country.

Playing football there gave so many cool experiences and relationships with people there and the cool thing is that football over there costs $10 a month and we train like 4 days a week and here in Canada its $200 a month with 3 days a week.

FB_IMG_1518836126295.jpg

I got to watch the first team play live at the stadium which was awesome. The fans were crazy and built a great atmosphere

FB_IMG_1518835903350.jpg

We trained at this athletic park surrounded with beautiful mountains and had a lot of fun times

FB_IMG_1518835920494.jpg

FB_IMG_1518835894158.jpg

My coach was so amazing because he didnt care about the money. There were times where he wasnt making enough but still trained us as hard as he could. He was always right into our practices and focused on improving us. In Canada its a bit different. I had this coach who would tell us to do a drill and then he would go on his phone and not pay attention... but that doesnt go for all coaches because the coach I have right now is a brilliant coach๐Ÿ‘Œ

FB_IMG_1518835997496.jpg

Playing games and tournaments was the best part and so much fun. Playing football in El Salvador was so hot every single day

FB_IMG_1518835940932.jpg

I got to play on some dirt fields with rocks and bumpy fieds which made it even more fun to expierence because now going back to Canada the kids complain about one little bump where I got to play on dirt fields with holes and rocks hahaha ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿคฃ

FB_IMG_1518835930583.jpg

I still remember this games I played. I ended up scoring 4 goals and was super happy. But once again it was so damn hot. But it was also cool because everyday there in El Salvador is like 30+ celcius.

FB_IMG_1518835874716.jpg

I got to see what it was like in the locker rooms in the stadium and walk through the tunnel into the field

FB_IMG_1518835880059.jpg

We had like a 3 hour long practice that day and went through multiple stations of drills and had some games

FB_IMG_1518835867288.jpg

The funny part about over there and thats different from Canada is that over there the kids and people drink water out of mini bags. They sell water in mini bags where you make a little hole and drink from it ๐Ÿคฃ

FB_IMG_1518835781282.jpg

Everytime there is a game... the bench is in the shade because everyone would die if it was in the sun

FB_IMG_1518835812218.jpg

FB_IMG_1518835790291.jpg

I got to do a victory lap with my team during the professional game

FB_IMG_1518835861288.jpg

We also had team dinners with the team and had some fun.

FB_IMG_1518835847517.jpg

This isnt all one team if you were wondering. This is players from different levels and ages

FB_IMG_1518835855370.jpg

Here is my coach again...I hope to train with him again one day

FB_IMG_1518835707618.jpg

This was a great team a had with all good players. We had good times scoring goals

FB_IMG_1518835598288.jpg

These were some of my 2 best buddies in the team and we scored alot of goals together ๐Ÿ‘Œโšฝ๏ธ

FB_IMG_1518835589209.jpg

Playing games on artificial turf when its 30+ degrees celcius in not a great feeling hahah. You can really feel the heat on this field but luckily is was in the morning so not as hot.

FB_IMG_1518835562005.jpg

Before each game we played, our team would pray and huddle and one time they made me pray even though i didnt know how to pray in spanish haha

FB_IMG_1518835552059.jpg

FB_IMG_1518835573538.jpg

Before alot of our practices started we would swing from this rope that hung from a tree and one time I fell and scraped my hand haha

FB_IMG_1518835541833.jpg

FB_IMG_1518835546973.jpg

Another great memory that I had playing there was when It poured rain and we woukd play in puddles and mud where the ball would move one inch when you tried to pass it haha. It was a really fun time

FB_IMG_1518835532125.jpg

We got soaked and even fouled each other just to get the other person wet and dirty. At this point all the parents are just worrying about all the clothes they are going to wash haha ๐Ÿ˜‚

FB_IMG_1518835537597.jpg

The landscape was beautiful when we played games

FB_IMG_1518835526374.jpg

One time we got to play on the professional field and got destroyed this game because we played an italian club haha

FB_IMG_1518835714318.jpg

I celebrated my 12th birthday in El Salvador with my football team where we played in the playground area and had tons of fun. I also got a lot of presents and 4 soccer balls that I ended giving one to my teammate that didnt have one

FB_IMG_1518835728448.jpg

We had some good food and laughed alot

FB_IMG_1518835741332.jpg

FB_IMG_1518835762842.jpg

At the time Rey Mysterio was still in the WWE and I was a huge fan so I got a Rey Mysterio cake

FB_IMG_1518835913339.jpg

Had times to chill with family and my dog

FB_IMG_1518883967727.jpg

Chritsmas was another dope part that I got to expereince. It might look different from Canada because theres no snow haha. When its winter in Canada its Summer in El Salvador

It was also like 25+ celius during the night hahah

Fireworks is a huge part in christmas is El Salvador. Everyone is aloud to use there own fireworks that they sell at the store. There are many accident with fireworks esoecially with kids.

FB_IMG_1518883944232.jpg

This is a volcano firework

FB_IMG_1518883962594.jpg

FB_IMG_1518836369274.jpg

Those were some of the big highlights of being in El Salvador for one year. i had more but couldnt find the pictures for everything. Im now here in the okanagan by the lake with my soccer ball.

That year was so much longer than others i had because i did more and new things. So if you feel that time flies or life is short... well its not. You just got to do more and experience new stuff.

If you can dont spend your money on a new car that you dont need. Instead travel to a new country and you will get so much more out of it.

This is such a valuable experience you had.
And you are totally right - a lot of things can change and happen in just one year.
I see that football was a huge part of your experience and that you are very passionate about it. :)
There's two things that El Salvador and Serbia have in common - bumpy fields and those fireworks, lol. :D
