Newest Illustration -- How To Draw A Zombie Skull (Can you do it?)

in life •  8 years ago

So to start, draw the eyes and nose area first. It will be easier to fill the face in around them once they are in place.

Next, draw the chin area, along with some teeth. You can customize your drawing here and have teeth missing and also choose to either have slime dripping off or not.

Next add in the cheek bones, ear(s) and facial features like eye brows. Here, you can choose how skinny or fat the face is.

Next, draw either hair, the head or like I did, some brains!

You can then finish the rest of the head with hair, patches of hair, or you could do the entire thing a brain, it is really up to you. Also, go back and find any thin strokes and thicken them up. Have a consistency with your line weight if you want to get this cartoony effect.

Once you have the outline like you want it, add your flat tones. Since it is a zombie, you can kind of go crazy with color. My favorite color is blue so I went with that. You could try skin tones, green, or even orange.

Finally, once your flat tones are done, use darker shades of those colors and fill in where your shadows should be.

Please give this drawing a try! It takes about 2 hours and is really fun! Feel free to post your drawing in the comment section when you finish! Thanks for viewing.

I really don't understand all the fuss about zombies. Perhaps it has to do with kind of unconsciously foreshadowing bad events. However there is one Zombie I very much like, the English band from the seventies:

I just drew it because halloween is close

awesome bro! nice work! upvote!
