Aiming for a More Prosperous 2018

While I enjoyed most of 2017, I haven't made the most out it. I had some good things and some not-so good things that happened in my life.

Perhaps the best blessing that our family received is the birth of our second son last September 1.

Financially, we get by. Although I had to borrow money to pay the hospital bills for my son's birth. I take it as a challenge for me. I know I could have earned more both offline and online. However, I have not been living up to my full potential. I have been contented with the meager income I get from my freelancing services and less - than-a-dollar a day from blogging sites that pays.

For 2018 I need to set my goals. Here's a part of my goals for this year.

Financial. Earn at least $10.00 a day this January. Perhaps, I will start with $2-$3 a day. Then on the second quarter, I aim to earn at least $25. 00 a day. And by the second half of the year I aim to earn $50.00 a day. I believe, though, that with Steemit, I could easily achieve this and even more.

This way I could pay off my debt before the end of the year.

2.Good Health. I am not in a bad shape. But I need to confirm my blood chemistry this year and trim down my waist line from 36" to 30". Hmm.. Maybe an inch a month will be my goal.

Honda CRV. I always dreamed of driving a Honda CRV. While most people here are buying Ford or Mitsubishi and Toyota SUV's I want a Honda CRV. I have written this a few years ago that in 2018, I will drive this car. Perhaps when I reach my financial goal, I can afford to apply for a loan in the bank, or someone will give one to me as a gift. A little wishful thinking there heheh.

For this January though, I would settle for any low-priced car so we can stay in our own house. (See next item)

House Repair and Renovation. I have a house but it needs some repairs. It is quite far from my wife's school. Thus we don't live there. But even before it is repaired, we could live there as long as we have car.

5 ** Family Time **. I want to spend quality time with my family. Specially during weekends. At the moment, since we are living with my in-laws we don't do that as much as I wanted it.

6.Church Time. I'm a Catholic. But for some reasons, we don't go to church anymore, I wanted to be active in church again. Not just for the external rituals, but for my spiritual needs.

7.Publish my own e-books. I started my first draft already. I need to spend spend at least an hour a day to write it. Hopefully I could earn in addition to my daily online-income that I set above.

This is it for now. This is just a partial list of my goals for 2018. I will make my plans to achieve them.
