This tree in my neighbors yard has thrived for the last 5 yrs, but this past winter was extremely cold in Nj a few days around New Years dipped below -1deg F and that’s enough to literally kill back to the roots! Don’t know if even covering it this past winter would of helped. Don’t know the variety but most likely a Mt Etna type Fig, very good, and this really is a shame! But good news it is springing back up from the roots, it’s a little late got brand new growth don’t know if Figs will have enough time to fully develop and ripen! We shall see!956A661F-DAFC-4577-A3B1-C7A82E051B68.jpegA801EEAA-550F-4439-B339-6A8F24E6D890.jpegB753B9C7-85D8-46EE-A2E2-348460895899.jpeg
