Last Tuesday, the Venezuelan Society of Public Health issued a statement in which they point out that Venezuela is experiencing a humanitarian crisis in health, which is worsening in the face of a shortage of antibiotics, intravenous solutions, treatments for cancer and even food. In addition, the blackouts that extend in the interior of the country as a measure of energy saving do not allow to maintain operative the necessary medical equipment to keep the patients alive.
