International Pole Sport Federation has approved pole dance as an official sport.
(It's me on traning:) I'm Julia and this is my first post of many and many)
At the same time, IPSF - International Pole Sport Federation received "observer status" of this process. This means that now the IPSF can apply for admission by the International Olympic Committee. If the Olympic Committee will approve it, pole sport will be taken to the Olympic Games along with other sports.
Now IPSF was given 2 years to fulfill the requirements. One of them - compliance with the standards of the anti-doping agency.
All pole sport athletes waited this moment for a long time. And now they can share their achievements with whole world, in Olympic games!
For a long time I attend pole dance trainings and I am very happy about this event. It's great that now it is growing from hobby to real sport. And new horizons for me, wonderful filling!)
