Hello there Steemians!
I hope everything is going well with you all.
Once in a while, I ponder on how cool it is to find the world that we live in constantly changes. It's a lot of wonder at how far and how fast-paced our world has gotten to be. Geniuses and talented individuals who are responsible for creating and bringing in and improving awesome technology as we go on living.
Life is such a great progress and has become more convenient in this digital world.
Amidst this modern world of digital technology in which my little nephew and niece have laid eyes on, I am amazed at how they still value and give essence to books-- yes the printed ones at that.
They are always very enthusiastic to go to the library and borrow some books that they could read on.
Born To Be Book Lovers
Like any other kids these days, they are also fond of playing games on mobile phones, and use other technology like netbook computers and tablets.
However, I appreciate the fact that even if a lot could be downloaded to our computers and phones nowadays, including e-books and audio books, they still love hanging out in libraries and bring home books they borrow, to take time reading at home.
These are my 8-year-old niece and 5-year-old nephew who were looking for books to borrow at the library.
It's a good habit that's instilled in them by their parents, to give importance to books. I certainly believe that books are still best sources of information.
My nephew chose all these 'Pete The Cat' books, and yes he knows how to read already. He's catching up so fast.
I guess I have to give credits to their parents for introducing them to books and letting them explore in educational places like library.
Carrying the books they borrowed, here are my nephew and niece with their mom, heading home.
Aside from my nephew and niece, I do hope there are more kids and youngsters out there, in this world of advanced technology, who still sought for books and love leafing pages at the library.
