A Young Man Returns

Hey everyone, Jordan here. It's been a month since I've been on; I missed you all. Things have been pretty hectic trying to provide for my family; I've been married for three years and I've got a two-year-old and a five-month-old (and my mother-in-law lol). My wife is able to stay at home, thankfully, but it's still been trying. My thanks to Greenspan, Bernanke, Yellen, and Congress for that...At least I don't live in a state that taxes you black and blue. Talk about being considered a serf; my sympathy to anyone who lives in a state that does.

It's been pretty isolating for me; I'm really the only one in my family who pays attention to what's going on in our world. Out of curiosity, how many on here are in the same boat? Probably more than I realize. I try to explain things to my wife, but she's been having a hard time grasping the concept of what we're facing. Coming on here and going through your thoughts and opinions encourages me more than you know, trust me.

I hate Facebook with a passion; pretty sure a lot of you can empathize. The vast majority of the posts are superficial fluff with no substance (insert the hashtag of your choice here :D). Coming on here where people can reason together without fear of arbitrary censorship is a breath of fresh air to a world being drowned in lobotomizing news-bites, sound-bites, and any other distracting -bite. I listened to Nancy Pelosi about and I had to have been losing brain cells. I consider myself to be moderately conservative in case anyone is wondering, but I'm not Republican. I'm almost ashamed how long it took me to realize the Democrat and Republican parties are really two halves of the same coin, meant to keep the people distracted from how bad things really are.

Enough ranting from me; I appreciate your letting me vent! I hope this finds you all doing well and prospering at whatever you decide to do. I'm hoping I'll be able to be on more to share ideas and opinions.
