Miscellany #2

Life is good lately. Getting to know the coworkers better, getting to know the Olympia music scene better, just all around improving my life lately in my first home away from home. As always, I’m broke as fuck. Paycheck to paycheck, living off of tips, etc etc. I’m used to that, not so worried about it. What I’ve been worried about is applying myself to the fullest, making the most out of my time here before I make the impending move back to Bellingham (likely to happen near the end of next year). I’ve been productive to the best of my abilities lately, which is ultimately all one can do. Steem is a huge piece of my productive life as of late, writing, recording and producing tunes and covers, sharing photos, and interacting with you people. This space is a beautiful thing to have found at this time in my life, where I don’t quite know what direction I want to go with my “content” - I can do whatever I damn well please here, in front of a new audience with big ideas. The inspiration and feedback I get from the Steem community is incredible.

I leave to go back home for almost a week on friday, which is exciting due to the fact that I missed my last Bellingham trip ‘cause I was sick as a dog. Can’t wait to see the friends and family. The holidays have gotten kinda screwed thus far, because money issues + I missed family Thanksgiving for the first time ever this year.. I hope everyone elses has been great though, Merry Chrysler to all!

Lots of ideas of blogs to write lately, very little time to turn them into something. I’m hoping to have a few thoughtful ones out in the next couple of weeks. Thanks for sticking around to read my random ramblings on this crazy platform. I know that the bulk of people here probably don’t really care about the personal stuff, but I write it anyways because... It’s comforting, for some reason.
