It definitely is, there is too much corruption when prisons are run for money and not for the true purpose of "correcting" criminal behavior. I'm hoping that they will push legalization of more drugs as that is a big issue as well.. We shouldn't be told what we can put in OUR bodies as long as we aren't harming others..
That's good news too! Those people did things that didn't seriously impact people's lives and the true criminals are taking their places. I'm not saying that EVERY case should have been released that was, but at least it's petty crimes and not rapists or murderers or big time thieves.

I´ve heard they (the private owners) even support some hard-core rap music, to make people commit crime and then get them, how nice. In our country (Czech Republic) we don´t have much information on this in the mainstream media. USA was our enemy, now you are our allies, the journalists have switched over to slandering China and Russia. One thing intrigues me: they still have not found out the issue of up to 1000 000 (yes one million!) suspected Falungong victims being murdered for organ transplants... Because it´s all secretly done for rich Westerners?
