In remembrance of King Rama 9th of Thailand: people gathered for his Royal Funeral October, 2016.
This video clip includes the late King's speech and the gathering of people to show respect and dedication.
The King's speech was on the 31st December 1976, followed by crowd singing the national anthem at the Grand Palace for the King's funeral.

This clip was taken last year, just after the King's death (2016), at the graduation ceremony at Chulalongkorn University. The Crown Princess was seen crying when people sang the national anthem. This university is the oldest university in the country and situated in the center of Bangkok, the last part is the song of this university sang by graduates.

Today is the national Remembrance Day for the late King. People can be seen dressed in black and preparations are being made for the Royal cremation ceremony on the 27th October.
This month of October is full of melancholy and anxiety for the unknown future. Being under the influence of Buddhism, Thai people are better equipped with wisdom and teachings that will help them through all difficulties.
