I have found a page on Facebook that we all could do with about now. Its a giving and receiving page, where you have a wish list on Amazon, you post your list and go check others buying a few items to cheer people up. Imagine how it would make you feel receiving a bottle of shampoo, lipstick, book etc that you have been wanting through the post from a stranger, there would definitely be a few more people smiling.
I put a post up saying i was in a gifting mood, people leave there wish list then i go through and buy a few items, i spent about £20 making 8 peoples days a little better.
Its bringing a lot of people together and finding a way to get through these tough days. I got a lot of pleasure seeing what they were after and being able to give them there wish.
Being isolated is very anti social, nothing we can do about it until this virus is under control so until then i can be sociable sending a few gifts, I FEEL LIKE SANTA.
Some will return the favour by going through your wish list. Apart from hubby who says, "Why don't you just buy it for yourself,"
I say "Because Mr Scrooge its nice to give and its nice to receive a Surprise."
We do what we have to to get through these difficult times, as long as we are still fighting and smiling we will get through this. Hopefully the world we come out on us a better more loving world than before. We have all been taught a lesson with this, #BEKIND, Look after each other, Be more caring, helping others.
