In Okinawa, they have unique toilets that are actually pretty neat!
They offer the option to cleanse yourself after you go, using different speeds and rotations.
The coolest thing about them is that they convert into a sink for washing your hands.
Making them extra convenient when you're on the go, and ensuring your trips to the restroom are refreshing.

I was stationed in Okinawa from 1994-1996. This toilet technology was not available to us back then. A few bathrooms just has a hole in the middle of the floor. At the time I didn't know what to do, so I just waited until I could find a bathroom back on Kadena Airbase where the toilets were "normal".

True! I think the design was just intended to save space though. Interesting to think how the water from the sink is repurposed by the toilet??
