I'm surprised by how many people don't have goals for themselves.
If you have no plan, Or some method to accomplish the things you want out of life, How do you expect to get the things that you want?

Clear Goals

Especially with large goals, They come in steps. If you don't have a defined pathway of how you will get somewhere specific. How can you get there with ease?
You can't. It's easier to procrastinate. And come with reasons on why you aren't accomplishing your goals when you aren't making yourself liable with how you are going to get to that goal.
It's easy to do a quick google search to give yourself a rough idea of what your goal will take to accomplish.

For example, if you wanted to start your own online business, You may...

  • Need to research what products you could sell. Whether it's an ebook or physical based product.
  • Check the profitability of your niche
  • Figure out which supplier you may use, or how you'll get your product.
  • Test products
  • Decide what kinds of marketing you will do and where.
  • Budgeting and earning/saving money.
    Etc
So while, Some businesses may need more or less. Having a rough idea of what you need to do and the order you need to go in will have a big impact on your ability to accomplish your goals.
You will be able to take baby steps.

Realistically relative to where you are at

Where are you in life, And what kind of responsibilities do you have?
How far can you reach right now? This is a big indicator of whether or not you'll be able to do the things that you want.
If you only have one hour a day to work on your goals, You may have to allow for more time for you to get the result you want. Compared to someone working on their goals for five hours a day. If one of your goals is to pack up and leave the state, but you have children, and it's the middle of the school year. These types of goals will also make it more difficult. So you have to look at your situation and judge from there.

Time limit

Having a time limit makes you even more liable. It forces you to accomplish your goals within a certain time frame. Instead of allowing you just to do them "whenever". Try to set up realistic time frames for each step of your goal process. That way you can get more done.

in lives choices are always there, there is no way a choice we ever be just one alone. Until we start seeing the worth of value which we carry then what we should be able to attain may just exist in our mind alone.

We do need the self belief, to add meaning to our existence. We are what we make ourself become.
Thank you for this.

And for your recovery process, you have not slacked a bit, your choices of colourful place as this is tantamount, its reminds me that life is once and ought to be lived without fears.

You spread motivate words even when you do need motivation, this is peculiar to the selflessness exhibited by Jesus.
We are all lucky to have such an examplary one as you

Thank you :)
I agree self belief adds a lot of meaning to our existence and it's an important quality to have.

self believe is a part of backbone of success

It is :)

Time management is an important aspect in getting successful results and better implementation for your goals. It is something I noticed was needed during this last semester as I have to prioritise certain things over others at one point or another, due to having many tests and assignments, along with two game projects to do work on.

Exactly!
You definetly need to be good at prioritizing for school! Especially when you have those end of semester projects.

you are absolutely right

Same thing goes with anything though, if you can manage your time and how much you need, you can achieve those goals as you have mentioned. You're a great role model for people as you have done/are doing a lot with your life and doing your best. :)
hugs

So true!
Goals give meaning to your life.
Without goals you'll get indolent and not happy at all.
Do a mix between achievable goals and high goals, so that you reward yourself by achieving goals, while you always have greater goals to reach.

I've also written something about setting goals on my last post
'how to Motivate yourself'.
I know that you're interested in these topics, so maybe you want to have a look. :)

Right! Goals are very important hehe :)

I agree a hundred percent ! Without a plan you can keep wishing to achieve your goals forever but nothing will happen. Basically a plan will be details of how to apply action to our thoughts. Because the problem is that many people just keep their dreams and plans locked in their minds and never allow them to enter the world 🌎

Exactly! It's sad when we see people who don't get any closer to their dreams.

It really is! They should read this post and they might realize what's missing

Sadly some of those people don't try and change. It's scary!

I agree. It's weird but so true

That's some real good advice! And if you're bad with goals and timing yourself, you could take some classes in a specific domain you like. For example my French classes are giving me time scheduals: every week 3hours after work, 2 times a year there are tests so I have to study, etc... The same comes with my EDX massive online learning courses in programming... ☺️ Set some goals, choose those education platforms and there you go!

"A failure to plan is a plan to fail." This one has always stuck with me, but I don't quite remember the author... Resteemed! Your positive psychology posts are always uplifting :)

I LOVE THAT QUOTE. It's so true! Thank you. It can be super difficult to succeed when you don't plan.

Whenever I think about this kind of concept, I can't help but remember the convenience store clerk from the movie Fight Club ;)

There is a great video by Frank Kern. It is tons of words to boil down to this. 'What is your perfect day'? If you can design your life and goals around an average consistent perfect day it can change your life.

I love taking cruises and on a cruise do the things I feel I should be doing. Exercise while listening to motivational podcasts and looking at Paradise Island (Nassau) while in the ship's gym. This has helped me feel like on vacation when I close my eyes on an elliptical.

Totally agree!

It all starts with a vision, which we have to have in front of our inner eye; a good mindset and faith in ourselves will let us achieve the things.

Sometimes I see people, who say but nobody believes in me.... I also was in such a position in terms of painting; got stuck, couldn't understand, why my family doesn't support my dream. But it doesn't matter, as long as you believe in yourself and follow the vision.

Even if we cannot achieve our goals, we have to try. I personally don't want to regret it when I am old, that I didn't try it.

Follow the vision.
Follow your dreams.

Thanks for sharing this nice post - it's always good to get reminded in such things!

Good advice and inspiration.

i also think so..@kaylinart

I'm inspired l learned a lot l'm one person who doesn't have goals and l always procrastinate and l always end up without achieving anything

Yeah your thinking is good. But we also need a self Belives and add a meaning to our existance. We also luckyTo have an suchExamplary one as you too. Thanks for Post.Steemit.

wonderful tips.
I think that in the first place we should appreciate what we have, because those people who surround us, close and close friends, they are very important ... many forget about it, and when they lose a friend or family, they start to regret ..

when it's bad for us, the main thing is never to give up, because it's always going to be good for a bad day, so you should always believe in yourself and yourself and when not to give up.

Your words and thoughts are very motivating and allow you to relax in the correctness of the written.
thanks, I'm very glad that I'm reading you. I wish you all never give up and believe in yourself

At my age and stage in life I couldn't tell you how many times I have set goals and "life" interrupts and I have had to reset my goals. The key is not giving up. It is a necessity in life to dream....and dreams do come true.

Thank you so much for your motivational posts! Keep up the good work. Where do you get inspiration for keeping your production of posts up and running? If you have some book recommendations of books with motivational or self improvement content I would love to hear them :-)

great advice Kaylin! I think when I put a deadline on my personal goals, I feel more pressured to get started haha or else I might procrastinate :P

I agree with you @kaylinart
I really like it

Wise words! I think not only is important to have goals, but to also have order.

Without order acomplishing your goals would be much more difficult. Discipline is also important to keep working even when we don’t feel like it.

With these things, finding success it’s just a matter of time

our life will not change if we do not change it.
is that your photo. very beautiful girl

Great post on goals, so many people don't set them as they don't feel like they need them... but then they just drift... I do a lot of coaching work with fitness and also general life, and it all starts with goals... Check out Simon Sinek's work on Starting with Why, its great https://startwithwhy.com/

I agree completely, setting goals for ourselves can change our life so quick. What matters the most to us now us not worth a single second of our life to be wasted on I realised this and I think we all need to think this way to change our lives.

sometimes, I ask myself - if we all really need additional things?

why are people so mad to buy a new stuff? Who does drive them to consume like a crazy?

Do you really think the world does need an additional seller/business?
