My Addiction To Working!

I have an addiction, An Addiction to working. Every time things calm down in my life, I Start to add new projects. While this is getting me closer to all of my goals, it's also causing me a lot of stress. I realize that as one person I can't possibly do all of this, All the time.

Rushing!

One thing that is incredibly time-consuming Is my shirt business.

  • Diversifying to a lot of platforms, So I get the best "Bang For My buck." When it comes to designs.
  • Uploading the max a day on Merch by Amazon. I'm at the 4,000 tier. So that's 80 a day, Which is BRUTAL.
Sadly, as far as I know, There is no bulk way to upload to all or even the best print on demand sites at once. Which makes it a lot of tedious work hours, Considering I have thousands of designs.

While many other Merch sellers, Spend hours researching And making the designs, I have found my best method, Is to rush through the uploads then adjust as necessary to hit my sales goals. My two employees work hard to keep up with the design count I need; I also have been using outside sources to help me get even more designs. I'm at 2,800 designs now And max out at 4,000. With 80 uploads a day, In about two weeks I'll be maxed out, Which I couldn't be more excited to get a small break.

My Part Time Job

I love my job; It's so fun. I work there because of the workout, But eventually, as the weather gets better, I'll be better off playing outside instead. Plus it makes for Fun Steemit posts!
But it's hard sometimes. Being self-employed can be lonely if you don't push yourself to be out with people on a regular basis.
So working this part-time job has been a blast, But sadly because it's a graveyard shift, I'm stuck having a bizarre and exhausting sleep schedule. Sometimes I really can't decide if the benefits outweigh the bad.
Originally I only was going to work there for a month or two, But it's starting to be long term.
Deep down I know if I stay much longer, I'll be putting my larger goals in life, at risk.
So this year will probably get bizarre when I cut ties with one of my favorite aspects of my day.

Steemit!

A big reason I am excited about the break from my shirt uploading, And leaving my job, Is of course Steemit.
I can't wait to spend even more time on here. And it's my favorite part of a day, is when I'm reading, writing or enjoying posts. And I love all the dimensions Steemit is taking with the Dtube and Steepshot. But it's kind of bad at times because it gives me an excuse to be on Steemit more lol. I'm glad I consider it as part of my job, Which makes it much more "Justifiable" to be on here all day! tree-3097419_960_720.jpg

It's been long I last read your post @kaylinart and it's good reading your post again.

Reading this post I can see that you're a workaholic and you strive to be the best in whatever you're doing even though you sometimes overwork and stress out yourself.

From your merchandise work, the shirt business, part time job and steemit blogging, I must say you're really trying.

Today's post is motivational for me cus it shows me somebody who works really hard and not lazying around at all and it makes me feel like if she can do it then I can

But then, pls try not to over work yourself too much. A little rest and health diet will be good for you too.

Once again, it's nice hearing from you again.

Happy Steeming

Great post like always..From my observation, all workaholics fall into three categories:
I. Those who truly love their jobs ( and never consider retirement )
II. Those who are under tremendous economic pressure ( and have to work hard to pay mortgage/children's tuition/etc. )
III. Those who suffer bad marriages. Usually women.

I also have a similar personality - "the ants in the pants" syndrome where I get nervous if I don't stay busy. It's a double edged sword though - in the same time that it makes me very productive- it also makes it easy for me to over do certain things. Spring will be nice for you. Imagine sitting in the sunshine at a cafe sipping on a Late and working on Steemit - now that's what I call life quality

Right? I have the same feelings exactly! It drives me crazy! Lol.
That definitely is life quality! That would be the the best! But as always it's important to diversify your income.

I agree no matter what it's always good to diversify. I was wondering, it seems that a lot of your work (except for UPS) you could do as long as you have internet connect right ? Doesn't that theoretically mean that you could be anywhere you want and work ? That for me would be the ultimate freedom

You are workaholic ...this is good thing.....Success is no accident....... It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.

Exactly! hehe :) I am. I just need to take breaks more often.

That's awesome though, it's definitely going to pay off for you if it hasn't already. Be sure to take some me time every once in a while to regroup though, you'll come back stronger than before!

I'd love to know what platforms you diversify on, care to elaborate?

It's slowly starting to pay off big time hehe ;)
I need to do that a little more often hehe.
Well with shirt platforms my favorite are Merch By Amazon, Teepublic, Etsy and Redbubble :)

Nice, make that money and set yourself up!

Do you blog anywhere other than steemit?

I recently got in to running but seem to get a bad knee when I do too much... so I need to get that sorted to get the full benefits. And yes, running is absolutely a form or meditation (ideally you would do that too) and I would say more of a mental game than anything. And it's easy to do, no equipment needed etc. I guess it all comes down to the individual and what works for them... but definitely worth a try!

I have been tracking all valuable users' post on Hot & Trending section for a couple of months now but this is the first time I saw your post and the first impression is that there's no bar to learning. You being 24 and me being 37 and still, I have plenty things to learn and know from people like you. Steemit is just because of you guys. Steemit as a platform is so rich and is full of all knowledgeable guys, artists, bloggers, crypto-lovers and the list goes on - they are enriching this community day by day.

I feel myself the luckiest one among many of my haters and friends, family, relatives to have found this as a boon and I won't leave any opportunity to make myself stronger, knowledgeable

I noticed you haven’t posted for a little while. I figured you took a day off or you are up to something big.
Wow you are busy!

Yay glad you will be steeming even more in the near future :) you are such a hard worker and it definitely pays off, but I’m glad you will be considering giving yourself a little time off ❤️

My work became an addition to this platform , I love being able to interact and learn about different topics . This platform sure keeps me busy with life and the baby , I love it !! Since I can’t get a job , this has become a full time thing for me

I Love that! I'm so glad you are spending full time on here, It's time well spent for sure. Hehe :) And when you treat it like a job you are more likely to take it seriously.

As it is known : work is a golden ring. But is is nit ok to become the slave of wirk. It is the best to be the boss on your time and money so the money are not your boss.

Exactly! Lol

Glad you understand idea i wanted to share.

You are probably addicted to progress. That is great that you view work as progress and success. Makes it easy to excel. :) Good job @kaylinart

Most of all, hope you find happiness and fulfillment in the things you do...

Thank you

great post thanks to motivation 😊

Thank You

Nice post @kaylinart
Thank for sharing...

Thank you

"Sometimes I really can't decide if the benefits outweigh the bad." Absolutely !! I agrre @kaylinart

Yes! It can be hard to tell at times.

Yeahh ,its difficulty.... @kaylinart

You certainly seem to keep yourself busy @kaylinart!

You call your work pattern "an addiction," so that makes me wonder what you fear would happen if you gave yourself permission to simply sit still and not do anything at all?

Not expecting you to answer or anything; just posing that as something for you to ask yourself in a quiet moment.

All this work, simply because you are having the time of your life would be an awesome thing! But if you do not feel that way about it... then aren't you worried you'll burn out?

Bright Blessings to you!

Keep feeding that addiction!

LOL I will, I wouldn't know how to stop it.

Amazing post

you are looking so cute...
verry good writing..
thanks for sharing@kaylinart

thanks for your helpful post..

I know what steemit means to you, and certainly as much as you love the job, you love steemit too, so you've been doing it, anyway have fun though, we really do need you much here

Nice post @kaylinart . I hope one day you will start to make more than enough money through @steemit alone

wow .... a job that really makes us busy with the amount of work that accumulates like that, hopefully can be solved well @kaylinart

Wow you looking so beautiful.

I like this picture...

Useful post. Thanks :)

Thank you:)

As it is known work is a brilliant ring. Yet, is nit alright to end up noticeably the slave of work. It is the best to be the manager on your opportunity and cash so the cash are not your supervisor. @kaylinart

I'm facing the same problem sometimes. I'm afraid I'll get bored so I take as many small projects as I can and when the deadline approaches I start panicking and kinda rush things but that's when I get my best results. Regarding Steemit I can't wait to have some time off and spend it here.

Working also helps to leave stress!

A lot of work continues to be done so much also the pressure that must be faced, it would be nice if you are looking for a life part neraka. @kaylinart

I find it challenging to get myself out of the house to socialize pretty much EVER, especially when I work from home. I guess it's good that my kids stop by all the time or I wouldn't see anyone other than my husband all week long!

I'm definitely not a workaholic, but my husband is. Trying to find that balance is hard.

Your Tshirt business sounds absolutely crazy busy!!! I can not imagine! I hope it is paying off financially for you, though. I've never known anyone who does that. I think my daughter would be amazing at it, if she had your motivation.

Great post!
@byn

What are some of your favorite shirt designs that you have sold?

Hey @kaylinart welcome back ;)
There is no doubt at all that Steemit is the best platform to do full time/part time job at the same time it provides one freedom of choice. One can do any thing according to his interest n taste. So is the case with me lol

it's my favorite part of a day, is when I'm reading, writing or enjoying posts. And I love all the dimensions Steemit is taking with the Dtube and Steepshot. But it's kind of bad at times because it gives me an excuse to be on Steemit more lol.

You actually made my day for it i am really thankful to you :)

Hi! @kaylinart, You are a really good artist! I really like your post and you job some of the coolest things. it's awesome!

Good luck getting all of the uploads done to hit 4k! Just keep thinking about the rest you'll have after. Although by the sounds of it you'll just end up taking more on when you have extra time! Love that second shot with the trees!

Labor is one of the most complex dependencies that can only be treated with love.

Трудоголизм одна из самых сложных зависимостей, которую можно излечить только влюбленностью.

Good post... thanks for sharing

I would say I have more of an addiction to learning, or I just developed an addiction to learning.

Today I was told to calm down because I purchased 6 Udemy courses xD.

At least you are able to FOCUS on a few important things (your part-time job, your t-shirts, your Steemit), some people (eh-hem) can't even focus on that, they just flit from one thing to another in seemingly random fashion.

Why can't your T-shirts, with 2 employees(!?), pay you everything you need, such that you can devote to it full time? Then you take your part-time job time and divide it between T-shirts (or something closely related, coffee mugs, Koazies?) and Steemit?

A very busy lady you are!

Your outstanding work is very good. Congratulations to post this.

Thank you

yes even though we love work but do not forget that our bodies need rest

I can relate to this very well. It might be in the female nature;)

You have a nice addiction ie addiction to money hehehe.

I have an addiction, An Addiction to working. Every time things calm down in my life, I Start to add new projects.

I had really taken long without seeing your posts.I have a small update for you hehehe

I was delegated 1000 SP to help out curating content in our community.

Steemit is also now my job.

very gorgeous @kaylinart

Thank you :)

Thank you :)

addiction is not good that we mean but its good... i impressed to see your writing...

There is nothing wrong about being productive as long as you get your well deserved daily rest. Otherwise you will burnout!

As far as I understand, you really like the job you do. it was hard to find a man who likes to work at this time. It also made it difficult for people to do what they love. we can not do the things we enjoy working with. The things we have to do are very influential on our moral. this is reflected in our performances. I wish people in the world think like us if we can be united.

I can relate on the work addiction! I just got into Merch by Amazon and seeing the point at which you're at in it, is quite inspiring!

well i think its perpect and short ..my life is so hard to undestand

Life is too short to sit around!

Life has changed since I had a son. Harder to find time to add projects!
