I'm going to keep track of how many hiking posts I do this year! My goal is to go on at least 50 hikes!
Today was #1!
This hike was incredibly short, Because It was one of my last minute plans. While I expected there to be snow, For some reason I wasn't expecting the trail to be so slushy!
Because of this, I didn't bring my boots. And because I work graveyards and didn't wake up until 3:00 p.m. I wasn't sure if I'd make it to the trails in time for a hike. Because of the sun going down.
So a really unprepared hike, but it was nice anyways!
There were a lot of people who were turning back, Because of all the slush. It was slippery and hard to walk. Especially in my running shoes! Hahaha.
Looking forward to see what trails you take Kaylin! I love exploring and hiking - especially fun terrain. Did the ice water soak through your shoes today? :/

At least you are getting out to do the hiking, it looks beautiful though and I wish I could experience snow. We don't get any here as it is too hot haha. Glad to hear you are working on getting out again though and can't wait to see more! :)
