Why You Should Write More!

Writing is a hobby that not everyone has. Which is quite shocking. Throughout our education, we are expected to write papers, essays and everything else. When we leave school, we don't write as often. Our habit often stops.
Why should you pick up your habit of writing again?
Are there benefits to being a writer?

It Eliminates Stress

We all deal with stress sometimes! The bad thing about stress is it can have negative health benefits if we are under too much stress.
Did you know that writing can help eliviate the stress that we are experiencing? The nice thing about writing, There are no limits! You can write all day long.
And write about anything. It's a great way to express yourself.
You can write to other people, Or write to yourself. Or even keep a journal.

It helps you gain awareness

We have so much going on in our brains at every given moment, How do you expect to make positive choices, If your brain is constantly clouded? With writing, you don't have to live in a clouded state. You can write down your to-do list of the day, That has been stressing you out, and often your to-do list is much easier than you expected. Seeing it on paper will also allow you to tackle it efficiently.
Sometimes life situations are spontaneous and incredibly confusing to navigate. Writing it down allows you to see it from another view, Sometimes making it easier for you to dissect.

Sometimes thing may not be as bad as you expect.

Happiness

Just like getting rid of stress, Writing can help you be happier in life!
It allows you to get out the bad.
Writing is like having a best friend who will listen to you all day long. Who never goes to bed, Or leaves. You can tell your journal everything! It makes it easier for you to be happy in life when you express yourself.

Helps you Learn & Remember things

It has been proven that writing something down enhances your memory. It also allows you to learn easier. So if you read a book and take notes, Read an article and take notes. You are more likely to remember by taking notes; you can also use those notes for other purposes as well.

Conclusion

Writing is a habit everyone should have and develop. With Steemit we can all practice our writing! While earning a bit of extra money.
Writing has so many benefits. Anyone who doesn't write is truly missing out.

This one happy writer 😃

Do you count writing on steemit as writing in that sense? Or would you differ between steemit and writing for yourself?

I count it as writing yes :)
You can still express yourself on Steemit.
I Also think everyone should spend time writing physically with pens and pencils. That seems to be helpful as well.

I took your comment by heart and wrote my first blog post here on steemit yesterday, it was a lot of work but it felt great :)

Yes it does count, writing in anyform and any platform is writing,so far there is an output and it is visible to be accessed!

Nice post Kaylin! The funny part here is that while i was reading your post i felt like i somehow already knew all of it. Only because you wrote it down the topic got more concrete and easier to remember. Plus you gave me a bunch of new ideas! Thank you very much <3 upvoted and resteemed!

Thank you for such a nice comment hehe :)

Okay... now, I am writing ! :)

Nice post. I enjoy writing a lot myself and steemit really encourages me to write more :)

Thank you! I feel the same way, Steemit gets me to write everyday.

Someday, I will bigger than you. Wish me success. I am a fan.

Aww! Good luck hehe :) I do wish you success :) I Want to see everyone on Steemit do well!

When you are done writing a piece the positive feeling inside is worth it all. It is like you created something new from the ideas inside your head. It is a very productive feeling and it serves as fuel for the soul!

And it helps to think out loud like Ed Sheeran said.Hidden thoughts floats to the outside World through writing.

yes exactly :)

Very nice and interesting post! I also starnet to write some time ago :) Thank you!

I have to say that I noticed some difference in my vibe since I started writing on Steemit a week ago. Might just be because it is something new, or it might be because I started writing. Let me continue doing so and find out to answer. At least you got another follower!

Yay! thank you :) I noticed the same thing when I first started! It's crazy how fast it can make a difference.

Great post.

I have been writing almost everyday since 7 years. It truly is the best thing I have ever done in my life. And with Steemit? Oh boy, it gets a hell lot easier to not just write but also publish.

I wish Steemit was available 7 years ago. If that happened, today I would be driving my Ferrari on the racing floor of my luxury yacht as all the skinny girls surrounding me are screaming my name the moment I wink at them.

Oh boy. Did I just go to my dreamland.

It also helps you become a better reader! I agree, it really makes me relaxed.

PS: I love your posts!

So true! I didn't think of that one :) Thank you hehe.

What if the thing that gives us stress is the issue that we wanted to write but we just don't know how to do it? They might have the ideas but has problem in putting those in writing. This could be a problem to those people wherein English is not their native language.

Sometimes its hard to find time to express your thoughts and write.
It depends on your lifestyle. From my experience, I can't really focus after 8 hours of work. But it really is wonderful when you have the time to write, it improves creativity and gets your mind off meniall stuff.

I agree. There is something magical about the written word. When you read it opens the theater inside your head and creates scenes that can be seen no other way.

I wrote a whole series of posts while reading Cameron's "Right to write". We all definitely should write more:)

I use to be intimidated by writing. I was so caught up in how I wanted something to sound, instead of just letting go and going with the flow. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about writing. Writing is awesome.
