Hey Steemians,
The GaoKao is often compared to the USA's SAT Test but that is a severe understatement. The amount of hours studying and sacrifices these poor kids have to endure makes the SATs look like a walk in the park. I am a teacher at a high school in China so I see the realities of the education system here. These students don't really have holidays or weekends and their classes are solely dedicated to learning how to score high on the GaoKao.

I am sure there are some Chinese people on this site that have taken the test. I would love to hear about your experiences. What do you other guys think? Should China just scrap this test and try a new strategy?
