Very interesting. I’ve never heard anything about parting your hair from the left, or the association between wearing the color blue and gaining someone’s trust, but I’m happy as hell that I part from the left and my wardrobe consists of a lot of blue!
For the other two parts, I find that when I share vulnerabilities with people, they tend to sink into the conversatin.
I imagine this is because they feel my vulnerability and it comforts them; giving them a sense of security in the conversation.
After watching a long series of YT videos about public speaking, I’ve been using more hand gesutures and emotions when I interact with people.
So far, I’ve seen that the more body language I use, the more engaging the conversation becomes.
I don’t know if there’s a cut off point between the relationship between hand/arm gestures and engagement, but I’m going to try flailing my arms all over during casual conversation. If I see positive results I’ll keep you updated!
