The city of Bejaia (also known as Saladi, Nasiriyah and Bouji) is an Algerian city on the Mediterranean coast with its coastline overlooking a beautiful bay and booming tourist services to the maritime cities with pools, beaches, clean sand and restaurants. Bejaia is considered one of the most important tourist areas In Algeria because of its picturesque places such as the Cape summit, Cape Cape, Monkey Summit, Kasbah city of Bejaia, the island of Djerba Polimat in the West Coast.
It is also one of the most important ports of Algerian oil, where it pours into its tanks oil pipelines from the wells of Hassi Massoud in the far south and from them are exported to all over the world. It is also a commercial and industrial city where traditional crafts flourish alongside modern industries, most notably petrochemicals and chemical preparations such as medicines, detergents and pesticides.
The state has a very diverse vegetation cover of pine forests and olive trees. The state has a state-of-the-art national park, the national park of Goraya, a picturesque coastline, a fishing port and a commercial port.
