Gian Robberts is working on a new vegetable patch for the Earth Haven pilot project.
You can see the eco-tunnel to the right, which has been producing strawberries, cucumbers, various kind of lettuce, and spring onions, among other things . All of these produce are testing low-water use, chemical-free production methods.
To the left, the grenadilla is covering the fence, and after 5 months, is bearing it's first ripe fruit! These were planted outside the tunnel on purpose. It's fruit will be for the animals and insects, but it's looking like there will be enough for the humans too!
That is the way of nature - treat it well and it will provide unconditionally for everyone. And that is what a big part of Earth Haven is all about.

Really cool, I probably wouldn't recognize the farm after three years now

Good farmers, who take seriously their duties as protector of land contribute to the welfare of society in more ways than society usually acknowledges, or even knows. These farmers produce valuable goods, of course but they also conserve soil, they conserve water, they conserve wildlife, they conserve open space, they conserve scenery🙂🙂
Hats off to Gian Robberts from inner of my heart😊
