I was born in a religious home - a Christian home. I was a devoted christian who did his best to obey the biblical laws to the latter. There were some moments of depression - No, must times i was depressed because my thoughts were flooded with doubts and questions.

I did my best to imitate the life of jesus christ whom i taught was my lord and 'personal saviour'.I prayed, i forgave trespassers, I gave to the poor, sometimes my "giving" attitude affected my finances but i cared less. I thought this would make me get noticed by God, so i waited for the writing on the wall and found none.

who i was fooling? Many had done even more prayers and fasting, never experienced any miracles, lived terribly, and probably died horribly.

If the writings were too much to ask then "lord show me a sign". I waited but there was no voice in the wind, no message in the sky and definitely no angel that made horses speak.

Waking up every day-witnessing the magnitude of evil carried out by religious people, i finally decided to dig into religion, my religion-Christianity.

I am still at the periphery of my theological studies but the little i had discovered about christianity and religion in general was enough to make me rip the pages of religion from the books of paradigm, squeeze them and throw them into a bin far away from my subconscious mind.

Hell is not the place you go if you're not a Christian but the failure of your life's greatest ambition. - Immortal technique(point of no return).
