Mid-year Graduation! "KUDOS MANONG"

What we sow, is what we reap. 

Everyone of us has this kind of friend, who is not just smart but also talented! A consistent deans lister of his batch and a volleyball varsity player, team captain, MVP, and a theater actor. His name is Gabriel Dapar and we use to call him "Manong" and we salute him on everything. (Manong means older brother, can be kuya).

Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology held its mid-year graduation and that was the most unforgettable moment of my friend. The most awaited day of his life has come, to walk down the aisle. Yes! He just graduated Cum Laude with the degree of Bachelor of Arts Major in Filipino. What we reap is what we sow. Through hard work, dedication and passion he just finished his degree on time. He may encounter the ups and downs in life but still he strives hard to pursue his dreams. And there he made it, he graduated with honors.

Sleepless nights, yes, he did that. But that's not a hindrance to his success. He always makes sure that in everything he will be facing he knows that he can conquer it. And as proof here he is! 

After the graduation, we had a little celebration for his accomplishment. We prepared some foods along with our friends to celebrate with him. A smile not just to his face, but to all of us. We prepared Humba, Friend Chicken, Lato, or sea weed, Fried Tilapia, Crispy Pata. Because food is life we made sure that the food we cooked is with love!
