Patrick Aloysius Ewing (August 5, 1962) is a former American basketball player. Graduating from Georgetown University, he joined New York Knicks in 1985 as a first in the NBA drafts. He won a gold medal in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games and the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games as a member of the US National Basketball team.
