A heart-felt story of Low Cost Braile Printer, Ch1

I am a co-founder of affordable Braille printer startup. I started working on the innovation Low Cost Braille Printer in 2012 with one of my school friend Santokh Singh. I can still remember the day when our school teacher insisted us to visit a school for the visually impaired in our city. We tried to avoid this visit but our teacher convinced us buy announcing the extra marks for this visit. So, one day we organized the visit with bunch of friends. It was my first time at school for the visually impaired. I was very amazed to see, how a small boy was printing Braille with the help of Braille slate. He was punching the Braille paper with the help of pin. Out of curiosity, I asked their teacher to see the Braille printers in their school. I was really shocked to know that there was no Braille printer in whole school, only because of its high cost. All the Braille work in the school is done using hands, slate and a pin. An average Braille printer costs about $2000. I observed the problem and decide to find solution. I discussed this with Santokh on the way back. We both decided to work on the low cost braille printer.
