#ULOG 23 : Gardening on Independence Day!

in life •  7 years ago  (edited)

Hey everyone!

It was a very hot and humid day today and before I proceed, I would like to greet all the Filipinos a very happy and meaningful Philippine Independence Day❗

I decided to go out the house at late 3PM because the heat for me is not tolerable.

My companions to the garden are quite ready...

Going towards the garden, you will notice a thorny plant with maroon color . That is called a Cryptanthusthat belongs to the Bromeliad family.

I just knew its name like 2 days ago. This was sitting on the ground for years already I believe. When I noticed I decided to pot it for because of its unique look.

Finally, a picture speaks a thousand words... I sowed some seeds to the ground. Now I am just hoping that it will germinate and thrive in that location soon. I had Candytuftaround my Sansevierias.Wish me a very good luck guys🤞 and thank you for visiting me today.

Gardening makes us feel so good, does it nor?! The connection to the earth, the smell of the wet soil, inebriates the senses! Humans should be more nature-oriented! I wish for the day that we can have a small land to start our own garden, yours is starting to look so good.
