An opinion on the dilemma faced by Americans.

*this is strictly an opinion only. image the road Americans have less traveled and the new journey we must embrace.

When it came time to vote in this presidential election we had not many viable candidates; maybe because with responsibility comes accountability. I have seen this as a growing trend; furthermore, the liability of decision making has led to an erosion of justice.
We go to work. Talk of life outside of the normal working schedule seems foreign and something from a sci-fi flick. American culture is founded on working hard to succeed; however, this is evaporating where people believe showing up at a place equals working . Showing up on time everyday and being there physically in person does not make one an employee rather a body filling space.
Creativity is a new frontier having resurfaced among outlyiers and people living on the fringes of society. In today's transparency we are allowed to enact our freedom of speech; however, I doubt people were expecting the conspiracy theorist to be more accurate than the nightly news. That was a hard pill to swallow for most Americans. I was excited because it meant hey see I am not that cuckoo!!
Information... information is the hot topic or word. Mining for information; or as we call it, data mining is the new national resource. Obama saw information as a caste national resource much like a fossil fuel except one that keeps replenishing. But hey wait... did they track me, us, you: Average Joe Americans unknowingly and secretly to gain a strong foothold in this future technology driven market. If so we don't seem shocked, I think the schocker came when they had not collected USEFUL information. Sure, they ha e a lot of it but what good is it if it provides no relevant benefits?
Speaking of benefits; oh wait, that's what our grandparents and parents had on top of their working wages. My generation shall not know a generous company benefit package. We hate are the entitled, spoiled offspring of the greatest generation looking at you baby boomers who feel we deserve the same opportunity as our grandparents or parents. Oh but the plot thickens, the world is also in turmoil. No for real, the world we have been given the keys too is left in terrible shape.
. The phrase rode hard and hung up wet comes to mind. I would say the systems we depend on for the typical American lifestyle have been put through the ringer. What's left is a few basic resources, strict regulations, small opportunity to penetrate the glass ceiling, and a lot of people pointing fingers.
Pointing fingers shifts the blame until it comes back to this basic fact: no one really cares unless it's quick dirty and satisfies them instantaneously; except a few hard to find voices through out all the white noise and clutter of media communication. Finding true caring is the rarity, the crown jewel in the Information Age. This is why... drumroll please.... I stay with steem it. Ya, it's a little gimmicky, there's some spammers and scammers lurking around but the main community. Damn it's pretty good folks; furthermore, they work together rapidly to change, they respect one another, and they care about content/future implications.
Please respect this is entirely opinion based and have a beautiful night!!! 😘kspeaks
