My mom and I went on a double mommy-daughter date with my bestie and her mom. The picture above is me yelling enough at their success/fail at taking our picture. They did a pretty great job, but it took an uncomfortably long time to take it. We laughed, we posed, and we eventually got it.

Retro XVI

We went to have brunch at this lovely little hole in the wall. The owner said thank God you ladies came today, the day before mother's day because tomorrow we have over 150 reservation. The place seats maybe a max of 12 people inside. Not sure she survived the event.

The food was terrible and I am glad we only went because my mom had gone before. She really enjoyed it and loves the place, but admitted the place had improved slightly, but they dropped the ball on the food quality. Afterward, we went thrift shopping and purchased some fun items. I think we all got something, mom her tea set, Bestie her crafts, and I a jacket.
