Thank you @simgirl for my sims!
Friends, I have a question for you. To go to Canada or not to go? You see, some friends coming to the Florida meetup are heading to Canada afterwards. I think I should go too. Is there such a thing as too much traveling while unemployed? I think I’m going through some sort of phase. Am I attempting to make up for lost time? You see, after college I was determined to pay off all my student debt. I did somehow survive a year on the tightest budget possible. After ignoring friends, wedding, birthdays, and everything in between. I decided to never again miss out on celebrations such as weddings, birthdays, or opportunities to travel. All that to say, I should make every trip.
I think I should go, don't you?
You see, I saw this post called, "Steem Montreal Meet Up!" My favorite people are going to be there, so I should need to be there too, right? How much time do we spend reading our friends’ posts? Commenting, upvoting, rinse and repeat with all our Steemit friends. I would love to meet more friends for coffee and lunch. Where are you? I want to come visit! Speaking of visiting, did you know that flight prices vary slightly? You see, the price to fly to Canada and spend five days or three days is the same price. To be honest, the weekend trip is more. I think $60 difference. A week versus a weekend is roughly the same price, so since I could crash on a friend's couch, what would be the wise flight to choose?
What would you do?
Here is what I'm thinking. If I'm not working, spend the week. If I am working, spend the weekend. It's not a matter of going or not, but how long? I take that back. Im saving for Europe after all, but with a job I could make this happen. If I get a job by the time of this trip then I will book it! What is there to do in Canada? I hear it's going to be cold, so what is there to do other than freezing? Have you been to Canada before? I heard there are late night coffee shops.
Go to Montreal! It’s a lovely place— my favourite is Old Montreal with its cobblestone streets, cafes, street musicians and little French bistros. It’s cold though so bundle up!

Just go, you don't have to spend so much money, maybe even hitchhike make it a beatnik style trip, and write a diary on paper, you can scan the pages and post here on steemit, when you get back... =)

You know this isn’t a terrible idea. However, hitchhiking isn’t really my thing, but it might be more cost effective to drive part of the way for sure.

I used to live in Vancouver (I know you said Montreal but shh). I've got family over there so I've been loads of times and it is absolutely stunning. Always go to Canada, whenever you get chance!

It’s sooo cold there right now too. My sister has all my winter clothes and she’s away for college. I’ll have to dig to find another coat. :) is it true they hav coffee shops open late, even in the winter months?

Hmm I lived there for 6 months but it wasn't in the middle of winter and, like I said, it was Vancouver but they were always open late from what I remember.

Unemployment is the perfect time to travel. I did it all the time. Do it. However, I thought you didn't have a passport?

I didn’t think I had one either, well that’s not true. I’ve always had one, but I thought it expired it. It’s not. I have until January 2019. Also, see you tomorrow:)
