Twelve months later and here we are again...

Last year this time, I had a new job, my car tire exploded on the high way, and I was eating so much cake. Last year the girls kidnapped me for a day. We drove south to Miami for brunch and this year we drove north to pick some pumpkins.

This year has been full of surprises. Some of these surprises, now that I am looking back, are similar to last year. Some of these surprises, now that I look back twelve months are very unexpected and different than years prior.

Last year,

• Car situation lead to a newer car that holds strong. In many ways, expect the color, this is my dream car.

• Started a new job, lost my new job, and eventually started this job. This job in some ways is my dream job.

• NYC trip with the girls! In many ways that trip lead to many more dream trips...

Oh how that year was filled with dreams and such...

This year,

• Same car, same phone
• Europe happened!
• So many MSP meetups!

We are so close to reaching some goals and becoming a homeowner. The year isn't over yet!

Cake, Wine, and queue the music!

The cakes have grown since we last spoke in size and quantity. The wine has sweetened since we last cheered. The vocal cords have...

Well, it's the thought and love that counts, right? Here are some of the favorite moments so far. My coworkers and church gals are up to something too, but so far I've been sung to three times.
