Went to Seksyen 17 to get a meal in today, it was nice cause I didn’t have to drive- My friends were kind enough to let me “tumpang” their car. They went over to some hawker stall, really retro, classic chinese hawker centre. It was kind of difficult to find a parking so we got dropped off first while my colleague continued his search for a spot.
I went to get myself some chee cheong fun, while some of us got zap fan. The uncle at the stall was really nice, he also spoke Hakka, which is the dialect that one of my friend's kampung would use (ipoh). I got myself a simple plate of fillings, just fried bean curd and some wantans, nothing really heavy as I wasn’t that hungry to begin with.
The hawker centre was relatively breezy that day, having no need for an aircond and no need to have a sweat filled meal time. Got to have quality time my friends. They filled me in on some inside jokes and funny occurrences throughout the past, and we had a good time bonding with each other.
