was going to try to take a selfie of the front screen of my m2 aqua phone, but one of the cracks goes right through the centre of the glass above the front camera, and the image is mostly glare from the crack.

I should have got it more protection but too many times seeming to survive falls I got complacent.

So, anyway, I have scheduled a power down for in a week's time, and I will find a place that can replace the screen, and two of the waterproof seals on the microUSB port and speaker holes at the bottom. It is a good little phone and survived thus far pretty good. I will get a flip case for it and a small wrist strap/lanyard for it so it doesn't happen again so easy.

I will make sure in future and from now on that my gear is protected. I have been a bit spoiled before with much better backpack with waterproof compartment, and fully rugged phones.

I so often know what I should have done but then the expectable goes wrong and I am in trouble as expected. Being clever has this downside where you feel more accountable because you knew, and when it goes wrong, you knew it probably would, and so I don't feel good about needing help, since I shouldn't have.

Update

I sat down and filled out the form for getting assistance from the government... I think it should not be any big problem in getting approved, and it dates back to 29 November, and maybe 22 December will be the first payment, which I think may include some "vacantiegeld" but probably not much.

In any case I can fix my phone from one week powering down, so at least by christmas I will have a fully repaired, protected phone to continue steeming. It us usable currently but the screen is pretty nasty.

I got paper and pencils and pens. Now I have finally bitten the bullet and done some bureaucrap, maybe I will do some drawings, or diagrams.
