The plane Airbus 321 belonging to the company “Kogalimavia” (Metrojet) was heading from Sharm El Sheik to Sankt Petersburg, flight number KGL9268, crushed in the area of the Sinai Peninsula after a terrorist attack. 224 people died. 224 lives were taken up to the skies forever, riding on a wave of their memories of happy holidays in Egypt mixed with tears. I truly believe that the heart of each person on earth was touched on this day, by this tragedy.
A photo of a small girl Darina became the symbol of this tragedy. She was flying on a plane for the first time in her life. The first and the last… Darina is the main passenger.
I would like to ask all of you to honour those who died on this day in that air crash, with a minute of silence and a lighting of a candle.
