10 Tips to Achieve Anything You Want in Life
Believe in yourself, you can achieve anything that you set your mind to. There are no limits out here, the only limits are those that you impose upon yourself. Dream, believe and take action. Identify what you truly want and how you truly want to live your life, and take action. Start to create the life of your dreams. Start small, dream big and don’t ever give up.
As Thomas A. Edison Says: "Having a vison for what you want is not enough.. Vision without execution is hallucination".In many cases, we fail to get what we want because we have not known how to plan to get it. You will be surprised to hear that this amazing achievement is not too far out of reach, no matter how far and difficult it may seem all the way from the starting line. Today, if there’s anything you want to do in life that you feel really passionate about, any goal that you want to achieve, simply use the following steps to begin your path with clarity and conviction.
So, here are my 10 best tips for achieving anything you want in life.
10. Focus on commitment, not motivation.
Just how committed are you to your goal? How important is it for you, and what are you willing to sacrifice in order to achieve it? You cannot count solely on motivation if you want to achieve your desirable goal. What you need is commitment. Commitment to perform at your best behavior and set your mind and heart to the specific thing you want to achieve. There can be hundreds of examples, but truly, all you need is to buckle up and get to work. If you find yourself fully committed, motivation will follow.
9. Get rid of stagnating thoughts.
Thoughts influence feelings and feelings determine how you view your work. You have a lot of thoughts in your head, and you always have a choice of which ones to focus on: the ones that will make you emotionally stuck (fears, doubts) or the ones that will move you forward (excitement, experimenting, trying new things, stepping out of your comfort zone).
8. Write your goals and objectives.
Do not leave your goals and objectives in mind, get them out there and write on paper all you have visualized. Probably, the most important rule that you must follow if you want to succeed is writing your goals is to determine the date of compliance. Because you will only then realize your dreams if they first become goals, the important point is how to do it. I suggest to take a diary and go crossing out what you’ve done.
7. Don’t make it easy on yourself.
We all sometimes hate leaving the every familiar comfort zone. It is our domain, our realm, but you can’t expect to achieve what you don’t have by staying where you are. Don’t let fear keep you down. Get out, challenge yourself even on the risk of failing as we learn best from failing. Didn’t manage to complete your work? Don’t throw the pen and walk away, put it back up and try again!
6. Seek knowledge, not results.
If you focus on the excitement of discovery, improving, exploring and experimenting, your motivation will always be fueled. If you focus only on results, your motivation will be like weather—it will die the minute you hit a storm. So the key is to focus on the journey, not the destination. Keep thinking about what you are learning along the way and what you can improve.
5. Don’t rely on others.
You should never expect others to do it for you, not even your partner, friend or boss. They are all busy with their own needs. No one will make you happy or achieve your goals for you. It’s all on you.
4. Set yourself a reward.
Got your eye of a new item of clothing or tech device? Dreaming of a fancy dinner or a tropical holiday? Decide on a reward, something that you really want and can afford and make a pact with yourself that you will earn the reward by completing your goal. Keep the reward in mind to help you stay on track, and of course keep your word and reward yourself once you have succeeded in achieving goals.
3. Use your imagination.
Next step after getting rid of negative thoughts is to use your imagination. When things go well, you are full of positive energy, and when you are experiencing difficulties, you need to be even more energetic. So rename your situation. If you keep repeating I hate my work, guess which feelings those words will evoke? It’s a matter of imagination! You can always find something to learn even from the worst boss in the world at the most boring job. I have a great exercise for you: Just for three days, think and say positive things only. See what happens.
2. Make the journey fun.
It’s an awesome game! The minute you make it serious, there’s a big chance it will start carrying an emotional heavy weight and you will lose perspective and become stuck again. As you set out to achieve your goals remember that you will face challenges. Think of challenges as ‘veer right’ signs that show up just when you’re about to make a left in life. Enjoy each and every step toward your goals because you never know when your ‘arrival’ is just around the corner.
1. Stop being nice to yourself.
Motivation means action and actions bring results. Sometimes your actions fail to bring the results you want. So you prefer to be nice to yourself and not put yourself in a difficult situation.Don’t drive yourself into stagnation and depression. Get out there, challenge yourself, do something that you want to do even if you are afraid.
Conclusion:
All the things begin with a dream, but do not let them stay there, convert those dreams into reality. Remember to make an effort to achieve them. Because nothing falls from the sky and all the big things start small. But always remember GOD, Proverbs 3:6 "In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths."
I dare you to try it and see what incredible things you can accomplish.
