Don't break the Tiny humans

I have a difficult time in public because I watch so many adults talk to their kids like they are garbage. Instead of bringing them up, encouraging them, it's easier to bend them to your will, make them fear, or swear at them. And I never see it work. The kids get angrier, louder, and out of control. They throw themselves on the floor, and the louder the parent gets, the louder the child. It's a battle of volume, not words.

Parents have bad days, yet their children can't. There are no apologies, there is only a world of issues later on down the road. It happens over and over again, until what we are left with is a society of broken humans.

And the handful of children whose spark isn't put out, their spirit untamed by the slap of authority, they are the ones who will be left to deal with the broken as they grow. I'm not saying kids should get away with everything. I'm saying that we all need to step up and make sure they learn to communicate. Not only with parents and peers, but with everyone. Lack of proper communication skills are already a hinderence in so many lives today. There's no reason for that to continue. Kids that hear negativity, will eventually start to believe it.

Instead, Encourage, teach, discipline, engage, all of These things can be done with communication. Just be there. Don't break the Tiny humans.

Yeah bad parenting is hard to watch, but good parenting is amazing, i have a ton of respect for it 😉 When i have kids i'll remember things like this. The way they're treated has a huge impact on the way they develop & feel about themselves & the world! They say you are what you eat..well kids are what they are fed!
