Hi I’m Jamie Originally from Edinburgh but have been staying in Asia now more or less since 1986 .
20 years in India , studying all aspects of yoga and Hinduism ,,classical music and dance ,as well as getting stoned and walking the length and breath of the Himalayas and garwhal mountains .
A few years in China ,Nepal ,japan ,Pakistan and now I have been in Thailand for the past 7years .
I studied Thai therapeutic massage for 3 years
Was an organic farmer for 3 years
And now I’m just treading water ,so some people have convinced me to join steemit as I usually keep a low profile and stay in the shadows observing myself and others haha .
I’m not sure what I will post about
I’m very big on helping the local people and keeping the money locally to benefit the locals
Appreciating all people and encouraging the locals to know and understand that what ever they do is worthwhile ,,well that’s about all I will say for the moment .
Thank you Jeff ,Kent and Marike for guiding me here ,,looks like there are some cool people about with interesting stories to share ,I will post a few pictures of me ,not because I’m vain ,,sorry I just read a topic on a Thai language section about vanity ,so that popped into my head just now ,,,,,,,,maybe I am vain ,,but just to show a little of my life ,,,,though I didn’t take so much pics previously
Ok people enjoy life
It’s wonderful

Great post Jamie! Welcome to the community. Sounds like Thai life has been good to you. I love how you are assisting the locals. What part of Thailand are you in? Also, you don't have to do your introduction post first. I would recommend doing one and posting with the "introduce myself" tag, as the whales like to support the new people. It's a good way to get some momentum going and is usually your highest paid post until you can get some momentum going. I know you said you're not worried about the money, but it can help you all around. Steem ON!

Thanks Jeff ...I’m no sure about tags ,, that to me was some old men doing some pre re hearsed wrestling in the early 60s.
I’m skint just about so every little penny will help , so I think I have seen a tag sign some where .
I just write introduce myself ?
Actually I can’t make out the photos I post when I post and I had better ones haha ,
So safe to say I can repost a different version .
I’m in Mae rim at this moment

Cool! Did you have your dreads when exploring the Himalayas? Why treading water now? No more dreams?
