A Promise To Myself,
In the recent year I've been treating my body like shit. This has lead to a lot of stress in my everyday life and depression. I would like to change that, and that's why I'm right now making a promise to myself.
For as long as I can remember, my sleeping schedule has been really bad. Go to bed at 1am and wake up at 7am, and sometimes even worse than that. I get about 6 hours of sleep every night. This makes me tired during the day and makes my body not perform as it should.
One more big problem that i have, is smoking. I have been smoking for about 3 years now and I can see that my health is taking some big hits because of it. My lungs aren't performing as good as they should and gym class in school becomes really exhausting. I've tried to quit smoking many times before, but it never works.
This has also lead to me never training. For the past years i haven't done any sports or even gone to the gym to work out and stay healthy. Again and again, my health is taking some big hits, and with the combination of smoking it isn't very good.
Also, I'm not eating well at all. Sugar is something I really enjoy, and a lot of meat and fat. I'm not fat in real life. In fact, I'm pretty normal size for my age. But they still have an impact on my health.
This needs to stop
The Promise,
I promise myself to quit smoking once and for all, to start working out at least two times a week for a start, to fall asleep at good times so that I'm not tired the morning after and to eat less sugar and have an overall healthier diet.
This won't be easy, but with all the stress that has come with all of these negative things in my life, I have to do something about it. I feel really motivated to start this, and it starts today. Not tomorrow, not next week,
TODAY.
