It is easy to heal your past because there are several ways to do so. Some are more effective than others, but all can be successful in helping you move forward in your life. Here are five ways that can help you:
One: You might want to start by examining your own behavior. For example, have you been guilty of hurting someone in the past? If you haven't, it may be time to examine how you've behaved in the past and decide if you need to change in the future.
Two: Find out what negative items are affecting your present life and decide how you can heal them. This involves working on the things that don't seem worth doing in your present life and replacing them with new positive things. This can involve making a new decision or doing something differently. When you're trying to heal your past, you will need to bring about positive changes in order for them to be effective. If you feel that you are unwilling to make changes in your present life, it may be because you have yet to experience past pain or are holding onto things from your past life that mean a lot to you.
Three: It is possible that you are holding onto a part of your past that is hurting you now. There may be an event or a deed that left a stain on your past life and you don't even realize it. Heal your past by forgiving yourself and finding the courage to let go of this part of your past.
Four: If you haven't forgiven anyone in your past, you need to do so now. You should not hold back or delay when it comes to forgiving those who have harmed you in the past. You may want to visit with people who were involved in your past hurt, but avoid touching the wounds they inflicted upon you. Your past hurts can be devastating, and it would be a good idea for you to heal them now.
Five: You can heal your past by moving forward. The past will inevitably catch up to you. Don't try to relive the past, just move on and face your future as best you can. Your past lives can have an impact on your future. So, if you haven't healed them in the past, it is important that you find a way to heal them now.
Six: You can heal your past by forgiveness. Again, remember not to hold onto anything from the past. Release your judgment and reject any temptation to replay the hurts of the past. Release the anger, sadness and feeling of regret you have for your actions and the things you did. Release all of the painful feelings and learn to forgive those who caused you pain.
This list is not exhaustive. You will need to use your individual intuition to guide you through the process of healing. Do not get stuck doing things the "normal" way. Remember, the healing process is personal and must be done in your own way. As you go through each of these steps, notice where you are weak and try to strengthen those areas in your life.
Seven: Remember that most people have bad memories, good memories, bad days and happy days. Everyone experiences bad days, but it's how you handle yourself that day that counts. We live in a culture that judges people by their past. So, the best way to heal your past is to learn to embrace and be proud of your past.
Eight: Love is a powerful emotion and is more important in your life than ever before. Even if you were not able to express love in the past, expressing love is possible today. So, learn to love fully and generously in all situations. When you express love, other people will feel love toward you too.
Nine: Learn to let go of old beliefs and thoughts. Our old ideas of right and wrong, and who we are as a person, can prevent our transformation to the amazing person you really want to become. As you discard those limiting beliefs, you open yourself up to experiencing the liberating transformation known as healing. So, learn to let go of old defenses and misconceptions about yourself and others. This is one of the most important healing tools, you can choose to incorporate into your life.
