THE VALUES WE NEED TODAY

Even so, you may ask yourself: "Are the Bible's advice still practical?" To find the answer, think about the worst problems facing humanity. What are the most frightening? Maybe you think about war, pollution, violence or corruption. Now analyze some basic Bible teachings and, in doing so, ask yourself: "Would the world be better if we all abided by these values?"

LOVE TO PEACE

"Happy are the peacemakers, since they will be called 'children of God'? (Matthew 5: 9) "If it is possible as far as it depends on you, be peaceful with all men" (Romans 12:18).

MERCY AND FORGIVENESS

"Happy are the merciful, since they will be shown mercy" (Matthew 5: 7), "continue supporting each other and freely forgiving each other if anyone has a cause for complaint against each other as he jehova * I forgive them liberally you, as you also do it "(Colossians 3:13)

THE RACIAL UNITY

God "made of one man every nation of men, to dwell on the whole surface of the earth" (Acts 17:26) "God is not partial but in every nation, he who fears and works for justice accepts him "(Acts 10: 34,35).

RESPECT FOR OUR PLANET

"Jehovah God proceeded to take man and establish him in the garden of Eden to cultivate and care for him" (Genesis (2:15).) God will cause "the ruin of those who are among those who are ruining the earth" (Revelation (Apocalypse11: 18).
HATE GREED AND SEXUAL IMMORALITY

"Beware of all manner of greed, for even when one has abundance, his life does not result from the things he possesses" (Luke 12:15). "Let fornication and filth of every kind, or avidity, not even be mentioned among you, just as it is a prophecy of saintly persons" (Ephesians 5: 3).

HONESTY AND HARD WORK

"Desamios behaviors in all things hopmradamente" (Hebrews 13:18). "He that steals, let him no longer steal, but, rather, let him work hard" (Ephesians 4:28)

HELP THOSE WHO NEED IT

"Speak comfortingly to the dejected souls, give your support to the weak, have great patience, with all" (1 Thessalonians 5:14). We must "take care of orphans and widows in their tribulation (James 1:27).

The Bible does not limit itself to enumerate these values, it teaches us to appreciate them and to always rule by them if more people had them, do not you think that this would have a direct effect on the most serious problems of humanity? In fact, biblical advice is now more useful and timely than ever but what can the bible do for you?
