Making a bed frame! (with photos)

Continuing on with our desire to buy less pre-fabricated furniture and create more of the pieces that we actually want, Ian finished our new bed frame yesterday.

Here is the process of the bed frame taking shape. We purchased 2x8" knotty pine for the boards and 1x6" pine for the underside with the 4x4" post. At the end of the day, it is likely overbuilt but we hope it will last us a life time. Enjoy the photos!
