In today's world there are a seemingly endless number of cleaning products and chemicals surrounding us. Our health is seriously affected by these chemicals. The Earth suffers as well with their continued use, and when people dispose of them they enter our soil, air and water adding to the pollution of our planet. Love Cycle is dedicated to making people aware and helping them find conscious, healthy, and green alternatives for daily living.
You can use vinegar and baking soda to replace your laundry detergent! A cup of each is what you need! You can even recycle a measuring cup from an old detergent container.
Vinegar and baking soda will not only clean and deodorize your clothing, but it will make them softer as well! If you have sensitive skin, you can even avoid reactions to harsh laundry soap by using vinegar and baking soda. Baking soda will also regulate the pH level of the water your washing machine is using to rinse your clothing.
If the residue left behind by traditional laundry soaps bothers you, there's no need to worry; vinegar and baking soda doesn't leave any residue or smell behind! However, adding your own scent is as easy as placing a few drops of your favorite essential oil in with the laundry. Lavender is a wonderful choice! Make sure to add the oil when the water is full or it will just stick to the clothing.
Vinegar and baking soda are safer for you and the environment! Say no to harsh chemicals and say yes to eco-friendly and conscious alternatives in your daily life!
Thank you for teaching me another way! :)
